Charter Flights

The tour operators sell off seats on their chartered flights, often at prices substantially below those of the scheduled airlines. The legroom in economy is typically less than scheduled equivalent; the upgraded seats tend to have excellent facilities and seats for the price.

Excel Airways (flights for Airtours/MyTravel) fly direct from Gatwick and Manchester on Fridays throughout the winter/spring season.

First Choice fly on Thursdays direct from Manchester, and claim to offer more legroom than BA.
